STA128: ’Cognitive Biases & Judgement Noise’ with special guest Tristen Attenborough
In Ep.128 of the Sports Therapy Association Podcast, we bring you 'Cognitive Biases & Judgement Noise' with special guest Tristen Attenborough.
With a record number of presentations at this year’s Therapy Expo, one speaker that definitely caused a stir was Tristen Attenborough. His presentation “In my experience... the world is more or less flat” delved into cognitive psychology - how we perceive the world, remember things and make decisions. By delivering insight into topics such as memory, cognitive biases, judgement noise and intuition, Tristen presented the argument that by understanding our fallibilities we can become better therapists.
Owner of Move Massage Pro in Northamptonshire, Tristen is committed to developing evidence-based practice. He was awarded an MSc in Pain Management (with distinction) at Cardiff University in 2021.
