Roman Gorbatov on his Salesforce journey and finishing the CTA review board at 5 a.m.
In today's episode, we are delighted to be joined by Roman Gorbatov, a Salesforce CTA and Principal Architect.
Roman provides some insight into his early career and how he initially discovered the Salesforce ecosystem. Having joined his current company 11 years ago, Roman explains the different roles that he has taken on over that time and how and why he decided he wanted to focus on the Architect role.
Roman spent his first few Salesforce years working on projects in Russia, so gives a glimpse into what it was like working there and what he noticed was different about the expectations in Russia compared to the US market, when he relocated to New York.
Finally, Roman talks us through why he wanted to become a CTA, how he prepared and how important having structure and guidance from FlowRepublic was. Roman also shares a story about why he ended up sitting the review board between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m., unbeknown to the panel at the time.
