Today on Conflict Managed, Lt. Mark Cancia reminds us that the path to solving problems at work is through curiosity, questions, clarity, and compassion. Mark shares with us the life-impacting message he learned from his “friendtor,” his meaningful experience going through Leadership Jackson, and the importance of asking himself and others what value they are adding to any situation.
Lt. Mark Cancia is a first generation American and second-generation Salvationist. Mark started working as soon as he was able, taking positions in retail sales, the food and beverage industry, youth camps and jobs on campus. He is a 2014 graduate of Florida State University and a 2018 commissioned officer of the Salvation Army’s Evangeline Booth College. Mark is an ordained minister and shares the gospel through management and Social Service with the Salvation Army.
