Where does God send a man who was born in Colorado and earned degrees in Arkansas and Tennessee? This is the story of Robert Meyer, whose proficiency in Portuguese and decade of service in Angola have lead his family toward a focused ministry in Boston. A life that involves adoption, college students, and bird watching. Reflecting God’s word in Ecclesiastes 3:11, “He makes all things beautiful in its time.”
Robert Meyer leads the Boston University Navigators team for their ministry to international students. He and his wife Teague and their sons Efesson and Biruk served as church planters in Angola for ten years with a church denomination (Igreja de Cristo em eng Angola) where he taught theology in churches and an evangelical seminary. Robert graduated from Harding University and Harding School of Theology with his bachelor’s in Bible and Ministry and a Master of Divinity, respectively.
