Today, I want to share with you my passion for detoxing, and I want share this because chances are that with the world that you have grown up in (I have grown up in anyway) is one where you've been brainwashed into dieting mentality and that “thin is best” culture and all of that toxic way of being and thinking.
It would be easy for me to just ditch the whole word ‘detox’ totally because it's linked with detox tea and laxatives and other weird things like that.
So, let's be honest, I am a geek. I love the body. I love science and the liver and your kidneys and your skin - The actual real practical science of detoxification is mind blowing.
This is something I'm going to talk about more because it's actually something I realised recently.
I do a lot of work with my clients around detoxification. It's a serious thing, not like from the point of view of ‘I’m on a detox so I can become a size four’ - No.
We want to look at it ‘I'm detoxing because I am supporting my body in a function it already does. I'm optimising. I'm supporting a system that my life relies on.’
