The creature howled in pain, but continued its assault. It leapt after the Swordsman Hero, who had already reached the ground and ran out of the alleyway back into the main bazar area. creature chased after him, and made its way out of the alley. As it crossed the threshold back into the sunlight the bright sun in the sky briefly obscured its vision. This was enough for the Woman to make her move. Her arrow found its place in the back of the eye socket of the monster. It screamed as it stumbled, and its other eye quickly adjusted to the light.
The vampire's focus changed to the Woman, as she was the ranged threat. With a single flap of its wings and a strong leap from the ground it closed the ground between them quickly. The Woman had already knocked and let loose a second arrow at the vampire's good eye, and the creature swatted it away with its remaining hand. As its hand cleared its field of view, a small group of undead rooted in the ground sprung up and grabbed its face.
The sudden change in direction and pace caused the vampire to careen directly into the ground, flipping head over heels as it did so. It landed on the ground with a resounding thud. Before it could reorient itself, the Swordsman Hero's blades found themselves piercing through its abdomen and pinned it to the ground.
