On May 7, 1915, a German U-boat sank the Lusitania, a transatlantic passenger ship that was sailing home from New York City to Liverpool, England. After being struck by a torpedo on its starboard side, the ship sank within twenty minutes. Nearly 1,200 people drowned, including 128 Americans. Imagine being one of the passengers on that ship? This is the feeling the disciples had while they were on their fishing boat on the Sea of Galilee. They had something the passengers of the Lusitania did not. In their case, Jesus Is in the Boat. (Mark 4:35-41)
