Equality, diversity and inclusion are important principles to build a modern workplace on. Recruiting for that breadth of experience and perspective can be a delicate subject though. Leading a discussion on this topic even made me nervous as a podcast host, for fear of upsetting someone, or unintentionally saying the wrong thing. But that's no excuse for not talking about this important topic.
