Opening Bible verse: 1 Corinthians 14:40
When our pantries are cluttered and disorganized, we waste time, energy and money. The easier it is to see what we own, the faster we can plan our meals and the less tempted we will be to order takeout.
Organizing your pantry is a lot like organizing your wardrobe. We begin with decluttering the "Old School" stuff. Stuff that's so old you don't remember buying it. It's probably expired or stale. Toss it!
Next, declutter the items that are "New With Tags". You bought it, but not sure you will ever eat it. Not sure what came over you in the grocery store. I call this tuition. You paid a price, you learned a lesson. Move on.
Lastly, you will declutter your "Fantasy Self" pantry items. Perhaps you were inspired by a recipe and bought all the fancy ingredients for a meal you never prepared. The longer you've held onto these items, the less likely you will actually make it. Again, it's okay, let it go.
Now is time for the fun part! All the pretty jars, bins and baskets! I'll talk you through it all!
