What does “Sharing the Gospel, Equipping the Church, and Helping the Forgotten” mean for the Slavic Gospel Association? What is “Operation Winter Warmth” and how are centers of heat and hope keeping communities warm in Ukraine, in sub-zero temperatures? Michael Johnson and Igor Bandura join us from Rockford, Illinois and Irpen, Ukraine (near Kiev) to share how we too might participate with heat and hope in Jesus’ name.

 

Michael Johnson is the President at Slavic Gospel Association where he previously served as Vice President of Advancement. Igor Bandura is the leader of the Baptist Union in Ukraine. Igor represents a grassroots network of more than 2,000 churches across Ukraine—local pastors and congregations—helping their neighbors, day after day as relentless missile attacks wipe out power stations and threaten a winter catastrophe.
