Kotani Pay | Crypto Infrastructure in Africa w/ Felix Macharia

This episode features Felix Macharia, CEO and Co-founder at Kotani Pay. He is interested and excited about revolutionary technologies including AI, VR, Robotics, and Blockchain, and their impact on Africa. KotaniPay aims to provide Africa's most reliable blockchain off-ramp service through API integration, lower fees, and KYC compliance. 

Felix speaks about blockchain technology and its benefits to Africans. Because it's open and permissionless, no need for any permissions to use stable coins or Bitcoin, and because of that it removes the center of power and no one can stop a transaction. Transactions can be made across the globe at any point in time without any unnecessary fees.

He also talks about how it takes  a lot of time to understand customers  which really accelerates how solutions to problems are solved quickly and because of that there has been lots of growth year on year at KotaniPay

His vision for Africa is to accelerate the adoption of blockchain by everyday Africans from farmers to medical doctors.
