Calvin Ryan talks new distribution deal and moving to Miami on ”Sports and Hip-Hop with DJ Mad Max”
Shoutout to Bayside, Queens, New York's own artist and engineer Calvin Ryan for coming on my show for an interview! Calvin talked about starting out as an artist at the age of 14-16, becoming an engineer, and working at Penthouse Recording Studios and Jungle City Studios. He got into moving to Miami to pursue a career as an artist in the Bad Bunny type of music scene, not being able to express himself creatively in New York with Drill music being the dominant sound, and getting a distribution deal with La Zar Productions. Calvin also discussed the hardships that he faced so far in the industry, yearning for longevity, and his upcoming song One of One dropping in March. Stay tuned!
