Sometimes what we have in our lives is not what we want. But there is always a gift in it.

How do we find and recognize the gifts in those aspects of our lives that we wish were different?

First, we need to address what is in the way of discovering these gifts:

· We deny the existence and impact of what is in our lives.

· We see it as totally negative.

· We judge those aspects as holding us back and hindering us.

· We are attached to having something more, different, or better.

These perspectives keep us stuck in what we don’t want and prevent us from receiving the gifts that are available to us now.

So how can we change our perception of what’s in our lives today? And how can we discover and embrace those gifts we are not even seeing.
