Ty shares his experience with routines and how as a child he didn’t like that his mom made him follow certain routines such as making the bed every morning and getting dressed everyday even if you’re not doing anything, but how now as an adult and having used those seemingly small routines everyday have helped him create even bigger and more impactful routines.
Ty talks about how it takes 10,000 hours to turn a bad habit into a good habit and how that can seem daunting and feel as though your efforts aren’t making a difference, but Ty encourages you to stick it out because repetition of good habits eventually turn into good and effortless routines. Ty speaks about the days where he doesn’t feel like doing the mundane tasks like making his bed but encourages you to not let doubt creep in and loose the progress you’re making with creating good habits, routines and rituals!
