On Thursday, AOA was live at the NCBA Trade Show with our friends from Chr. Hansen discussing the importance of probiotics - in cattle and everywhere else! In segment 1, Dr Steve Lerner, Senior Scientific and Business Advisor and Mike discussed the brain-gut axis and how probiotics can improve mental health in people and chickens. In segment 2, Ethan Lane, VP of Government Affairs at NCBA provided an update on the policy discussions taking place at convention. Dr. Jen Schutz, Head of North American Technical Service joined us for a discussion of Bovamine Defend Plus and how it is working in feedlots across the country. To close the show, Dr. Lerner rejoined the program with a discussion of Chr. Hansen's product Bovacillus and how it can improve cow calf efficiency, and how probiotics should be consumed by everyone, everyday.
