a) hamartia: a sin, failure
Phonetic Spelling: (ham-ar-tee'-ah)

Definition: a sin, failure - missing the mark; hence: (a) guilt, sin, (b) a fault, failure (in an ethical sense), sinful deed.

266 /hamartía - is the brand of sin that emphasizes its self-originated (self-empowered) nature – i.e., it is not originated or empowered by God (i.e., not of faith, His inworked persuasion, cf. Ro 14:23

b) katara: a curse
Phonetic Spelling: (kat-ar'-ah)

cursing; a curse; meton: a doomed one – means "to go down" (penalties received) due to condemnation.

 

John 3:16 – “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son that whosoever may believe in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life”

Phonetic Spelling: (ex-ag-or-ad'-zo)

Definition: to buy up, ransom, to rescue from loss - "buy-up at the marketplace" – properly, take full advantage of, seizing a buying-opportunity, i.e. making the most of the present opportunity (recognizing its future gain).

2 Corinthians 5:21 - He made Him who knew no sin to be sin in our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

d) dikaiosuné: righteousness, justice Phonetic Spelling: (dik-ah-yos-oo'-nay)

Definition: justice, justness, righteousness, righteousness of which God is the source or author, but practically: a divine righteousness. properly, judicial approval (the verdict of approval); in the NT, the approval of God ("divine approval") - what is deemed right by the Lord (after His examination), i.e. what is approved in His eyes.

Genesis 12:2-3 – “And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing. And I will bless them that bless thee and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”

And thou shall be a blessing.

5. We are like Christ – our Spirit man is as Christ – we are as righteous as Christ is – “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not [d]imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.” 2 Corinthians 5:17-21 – When I begin to believe in my Spirit I am like Christ – the more I believe it, my mind conforms to the truth and I begin to walk in Holiness knowing I am as righteous as Christ is.

God’s truth for you!

1. Nothing is Impossible with God.

2. My God shall supply all you need according to His riches in glory;

3. Christ in you is you hope of glory.

4. God is Jehovah Jireh your provider.

5. You lack no good thing.

6. You are a lender and not a borrower;

7. God is a miracle working God.

8. God is building you up “temple of the living God;”

9. God is not a man that He shall lie;

10.God never leaves us nor forsakes us.
11.God is building you up “the church” people is the church and the gates of hell shall not

prevail;
12. You have more than enough to bound to every good work – you Father in heaven owns

the universe, He gives us more than enough so that we can abound to every good work; 13.God is a promise keeper “divine exchange” His life exchanged on the cross for our life

therefore “we walk in health, wealth and strength” let the poor say I am rich, let the weak say I am strong, let the sick say I am healed because of what the Lord has done for us.

Gospel 4 Grampian listeners “Delight yourself in the LORD and He shall give you the desires of your heart.” Psalm 37.4 – Key when we delight ourselves in the Lord, we align ourselves to God’s vision for our life and as a result we see the desires of our heart come to pass.

“Commit your way to the Lord and He shall bring it to pass.”
