The gospel unites and emboldens while worldly desires divide and extinguish. The gospel unites and sin divides. Church Unity in the Gospel: The church was united by Christ, it's foolish to let division seep into the church. Therefore, a solid faith and hope will prevent these dissensions.

Rejecting Division Self-condemnation here comes because the pride of the divisive person makes them the savior rather than Jesus.
