Part 2 of my four part series on bullying, my guest Will Alton is 25 years old, a Firefighter/Paramedic for the Shelby County Fire Department, and most recently a newlywed. Listen to this incredible story of perseverance and tenacity as Mr. Alton opens up about how bullying affected him as a child and how he used the negative comments and actions to motivate him to succeed as an adult. Mr. Alton shares how he was mislabeled in high school and how this almost ruined his adult life. Simply being picked on can be difficult enough but when you have to convince people that don’t know who you are that you are not a bad person; you can feel isolated and without hope and not know where to turn next. I’m certain that Mr. Alton’s story will resonate with so many people out there and his message is one that needs to be told to every generation.
