Isabel supports adults' return to restorative sleep through evidence based techniques, tailored sleep education, advanced coaching techniques and incremental changes to behaviours and lifestyle that make a big impact.
She identifies the root cause of each clients' sleep issues and works collaboratively with her clients to create a sleep plan that outlines the steps needed to return to restorative sleep without the use of lotions, potions, rituals or pills.
With over 20 years experience of coaching and several sleep and coaching certifications, her clients consistently see positive results in their sleep, and their lives.
She is a former insomniac and a self proclaimed worry wart so she can really relate to her clients and what they are going through. At its worst, Isabel was sleeping 2-3 hours per night most nights of the week brought about by a combination of self sabotaging behaviours, panic disorder and poor lifestyle choices.
It was not until she began to understand the biology of sleep (what she calls the Sleep Generators), and what gets in the way of our natural sleep biology (she calls Sleep Saboteurs), that she began to see improvements in her sleep. Her approach combines methodology from CBT for Insomnia, Acceptance and Commitment for Insomnia with an integrated and holistic approach that gives her the tools to really understand each clients’ specific situation and how to improve it.
She is a certified sleep coach, a sleep enthusiast and sleep educator, working both privately 121 and also sprinkling the fairy dust of sleep amongst businesses and organisations across the world.
And finally, Isabel is a breathwork and meditation facilitator, a certified yoga teacher, a pro bono mentor for women in business, and actively contributes her time to local animal welfare charities.
