G1 Deut. 30:15-16 | Why does Moses connect loving God, walking in his ways and keeping his commands with “choosing life”? In this example, what would then be “choosing death”? 

G2 Deut. 30:17-18 | Today we hear a lot about “your truth” or “my truth”. How do Moses words challenge this way of thinking? 

G3 Deut. 30:17-18 | What are some of the “other gods” we’re tempted to worship today? If they lead to death, then why do we so often choose them? 

G4 Psalm 119:1-3 | HOW HAPPY | What is the tone of voice of the Psalmist in these verses? What is it that leads to happiness according to these verses? 

G5 Psalm 119: 4-6 | IF ONLY | What is the Psalmist’s state of mind in these verses? Do you hear hope or despair? Explain your answer.  

G6 Psalm 119:7-8 | I WILL |  What does it take to move from “If only” to “I will”. Think about a time you decided to do something new. What helped you make that decision? How can Philippians 2:12-13 encourage you to move from “If only” to “I will”.

• “How happy” – What would be the benefits of choosing God’s ways in this situation? 
• “If only…” – What is holding you back from giving this situation fully to God? 
• “I will…” – With whatever faith you have, choose to follow God in this and write it down.
