In this episode of the Road to Growth podcast, we are pleased to introduce you to Nakada Brown. When former photographer and wellness coach Nakada wrote Heart On Break in 2016, he was amongst the first authors advocating for modern men to actually take a complete break from relationships to focus on becoming better men before dating again.

 

Nakada contends that most men are failing at relationships because they don’t know themselves nor their life’s true purpose and exert too much energy into being validated by women. He suggests that a man fully submerges himself into the process of healing from his traumas and self- discovery to first find and then begin following his life’s purpose. Nakada’s teachings are especially crucial for men who grew up without their fathers or a father figure.

 

After his own life altering experiences in dysfunctional relationship that lead to the writing of his book, Nakada has been speaking with and working with thousands of men since 2016 and has a unique vantage point on the state of men’s work, the online manosphere, leveling up, and all the ins and out of what modern men call masculinity today.
