1) Even though we are in the book of Job and have covered some specific territory, there are important verses to cover again. Or they deserve some deeper contemplation. Job cries out to be taught. How awesome that he has humbled himself to ask God for help. He then takes an even better step, moving out of his comfort zone, by asking for any help whatsoever. But then he does his Job Jump into the abyss. It’s not always about us being wrong.
2) We need to pay attention when it’s in the Old Testament and in the New Testament, designed for encouragement and wisdom. We need to pay attention to every verse, but once God has spoken and twice have, I heard applies too (Psalm 62:11). And we focus on not being shaken but being glad, which is a great way to live the journey, regardless of life pictures.
