Signs and Wonders | We believe that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.
As followers of Jesus Christ, we are filled with the power of the Holy Spirit to be the presence of Jesus with one another and in our surrounding communities. We have access to God through the shed blood of Jesus. We are commissioned by Jesus and empowered by the Holy Spirit. We have freedom to use our time, talents, and material resources for the good of others unto God’s glory. We believe the same power that raised Jesus from the grave is available today to bring spiritual, physical, relational and emotional healing and resurrection.
Core Behaviors (We Will):
- Repent Quickly and Frequently. Scripture is clear that as we humble ourselves, pray, seek the face of God and turn from our sin, that God will hear us, forgive us and extend healing towards us. We are people who regularly ask God to search us and remove all offenses as we repent and seek forgiveness from God and from each other. We believe this is the gateway to seeing miracles and healing.
- Rely on Prayer and the Power of the Holy Spirit. We actively pursue the infilling power of the Holy Spirit through baptism, teaching, demonstration of gifts through a dedicated commitment to prayer.
- Pause and Create Space. We realize that the Lord operates according to His timeline and not ours. In our personal lives and in our public gatherings we will create space for the Lord to speak to us, to hear from Him, and to share prophetically about what He is doing in our midst. We will create additional opportunities for prayer and corporate fasting.
- Walk With People. During demonstrations of the work of the Holy Spirit. We will contend with people in prayer for spiritual, physical, relational, emotional healing. As healing comes, we will ensure order in our gatherings, provide guidance and explanation to people concerning God’s work in their lives and will lead people towards additional resources as necessary.
- Give Witness: We believe that healing comes as our result of active faith and participation with God concerning the work He desires to do in us. As we witness healings, signs and wonders, we will give witness to what we’ve seen, thanking God for His active work in our lives.
