BONDITUNES INTERNATIONAL CHAT SHOW- HOUR ONE, FEBRUARY 24, 2023
I chat with one of our Australian correspondents Melissa Grima in Melbourne about her recent trip to Abu Dhabi in The United Arab Emirates, as part of her new job. I have been to both Aby Dhabi and Dubai, so we discussed how very different the UAE is! It's a calm place to visit, very spiritual, they have prayers 6 times a day and a tannoy system would broadcast these prayers all over the city. Also the strict rules about having to be married to check into a hotel (which I had to do with the GF. We're not married but I had to pretend to be!
I am also joined by our entertainment reporter Rachel Brunsden (who also happens to be in Melbourne) about this years Grammy awards, the winners, the losers, and we discuss how much these awards are losing to social media and the likes of Youtube. It was broadcast by the UK National Broadcaster, The BBC, who do not need to rely on advertising, and that's a lucky thing given the ratings for this show and the Emmys, Oscars, and Golden Globes have been tumbling for some years now.
