Since I never do holiday specials, I thought I'd make an exception and talk about this request (below) I got from a community member, and touch on Valentines Day, what I think of it, and how I handle it in my own relationship. I'm curious what your take on Valentine's day would be from the perspective of a father teaching his children. My son is 11 and I'm sure he'll soon be paying attention to girls his age, but I realized I am not entirely sure what I'd tell him to do at this point. I think encouraging him to give chocolates and gifts to a girl would be implanting a simp like mindset early on. My current thoughts are to tell him not to even consider more than declaring interest until they've established a relationship. What other insights and resources would you suggest for raising a child to be unplugged?
