The Light of the World

Pastor Ryan Smith teaches on Jesus' declaration, "I Am the Light of the World," in our series on the "I Am" statements of John's gospel. To a world wandering in darkness, Jesus offers himself as the guide and source to this world and our lives in it, yet in the surrounding story we are warned that the same light that graciously opens eyes to give sight can also cause others to close their eyes and become blind.
