In The Heights - March 6, 2023 - The Extra with Shannon Brinias

On KRDO's "The Extra", Elise Santora, director of "In The Heights" at the Fine Arts Center at Colorado College, joined host Shannon Brinias to talk about the production currently playing at the FAC through early April.  The musical won Tony Awards for co-creator Lin Manuel Miranda and others for Best Musical, Best Score, Best Choreography, and Best Orchestrations in 2008.  Santora talked about her vision for the production and how she hopes theater-goers gain an increased appreciation for community and "created family" through the themes.  Tickets start at $20.
