“A Resurrection of the Ages: Our Destiny and Calling” (Hosea 6:1-3)
I. The Age of Death in which we struggle will come to an end (Rom.
8:18-19).
II. Because of Christ’s resurrection, corruption will be conquered (Heb.
1:10-12).
a. The Jews will then be resurrected (Hosea 6:1-3).
b. The Church will then be resurrected (1 Cor. 15:54).
III. All that comes to pass has been planned by our sovereign God (Heb.
1:2-3; 11:3).
IV. What has been revealed about the ages is to comfort and challenge us
(Heb. 12:18-25).
a. Overcomers will experience a future “out-resurrection” (Phil. 3:11).
b. Spirit-led believers experience the power of the resurrection now
(Rom. 8:13).
