EU justice and home affairs ministers are meeting in Brussels to discuss Europe’s response to migration. Ministers are racing to complete reforms of the so-called ‘Dublin regulation’ before next year’s European elections. The EU has promised a faster and fairer asylum system. Speaking in Brussels this morning, Ireland’s justice minister, Simon Harris, said there is still a lot of work to be done.
