#56 How to strengthen the potential of employees through the Professional Women’s Network
By helping others, she helped herself
EY puts a lot of effort into empowering women to reach their potential. However, we are not quite where we want to be in terms of gender equality. That’s where our Professional Women’s Network, among other initiatives, comes into play. In Switzerland, it was co-founded by Irene Geissbuehler, a Canadian-born woman who loves helping others in their career. When the network was set up in order to help employees, especially women, connect to each other, the company and the community, Irene was instantly attracted to the idea. And the best thing about it was that, while helping many others advance their careers, she has also helped herself a great deal.
In this episode, Irene shares her inspiring story by talking about her journey from Canada to Switzerland, to EY and to the Professional Women’s Network. Listen in and enjoy!
