Valid & Stretch Money talk new album Bill & Isiah and DJ Head “Sports and Hip-Hop with DJ Mad Max”

Shoutout to Detroit’s own Valid & Stretch Money for coming on my show for an interview! Valid & Stretch Money talked about their upcoming album Bill & Isiah, the Detroit underground Hip-Hop scene getting its respect, and working with Grammy Award winning DJ/Producer DJ Head. Valid talked about being close with J Dilla and Proof’s mothers, focusing on song structure when it comes to his songs, and his debut album Mihajlo making noise for him. Stretch Money discussed having a close friendship with Esham, acting in The Detroit Cable Connection, and making his song Ill Feelings about his relationship with his father. They also got into their upcoming shows, the Isiah Thomas and Michael Jordan beef, and wanting to run it back with the Bill & Isiah concept for their next project like the Pistons did in ‘89 and ‘90.
