Today on the show, we get into all things wellness related with Bailee Cooper, a PhD, dietitian with a vision to support nutrition and health in rural communities. Many of us in Ag spend the vast majority of our time caring for the land and livestock, that we leave little time to adequately care for ourselves. Bailee addresses healthy ways to keep nutritional foods at the ready for those of us that live the on the go lifestyle. We dive into nutritional fallacies, honoring rural cultures, and so much more!
Bailee received her doctorate from North Dakota State University, and saw a need to provide accessible nutrition and health education for rural communities across America. She is doing just that through her business Rural Health Education. She offers online trainings, speaking engagements, and one on one sessions. Her online trainings and speaking engagements are meant for both people in rural areas, and providers like clinics, hospitals, and school districts.
