Romans | The Wrath and Righteousness of God - Romans 1.16- 32 - Kyle Johnston

In today's sermon, Kyle Johnston discussed the gospel's good news, addressing the bad news of God's wrath against humanity's idolatry and rejection of Him (Romans 1:18, 3:10, 3:23). He explained that God's anger is revealed through intellectual futility, sexual disorder, and moral chaos (Romans 1:16-32). Despite this anger, God's love offers righteousness through faith in Jesus Christ (Romans 1:17, 3:22-24). Believers must repent, trust Jesus as their atoning sacrifice, and share the gospel with everyone, acknowledging that all need salvation from God's wrath (John 3:36).

Let us examine our hearts for any idols that have taken God's rightful place, and commit to deepening our relationship with Jesus. In doing so, we can experience the transformative power of God's love and grace, enabling us to be ambassadors of the gospel.
