363 Crystal Lavender: Overcoming 20+ years of addiction using the law of attraction
In Crystal's words:
For my 41st birthday on October 2nd 2022 I published my first book called S.Y.L. Say You Love, a testimony of triumph over the darkness of childhood sexual trauma and addiction. I struggled with addiction in many forms from the early age of 13. I lived on the streets of Las Vegas Nevada until I started hitchhiking and hoping illegal freight trains all over America. I was on the Sally Jesse Rafael show for looking older than I was when I graduated my 5th-grade year. My early childhood sexual trauma along with being overly sexualized on national television conditioned me into believing that sex was my identity. I struggled with toxic relationships and had a skewed vision that love= sex. Codependency was another form of addiction for me. It took decades before I understood what self-love and healthy boundaries encompassed. My ability to say "No!" Had been taken from me without me ever realizing it. My biggest first step towards recovery was giving my inner child the voice she never had. The ability to say "No!" People, places, substances and events were a huge turning point in finding the life and love I had been searching for. I now share my story loudly and proudly so anyone sitting in silence knows they are not alone.
