Valtteri has found a warm and welcoming vibe in the Alfa Romeo building. He feels a sense of ownership he couldn't experience with Mercedes. Mainly due to his performance sitting him in the number two seat and Lewis Hamilton being as great as he is in the history of Formula 1. Now Bottas has the lead and a rookie in Zhou right beside him. Performance at Alfa Romeo is not equaling what Bottas produced with Mercedes. But, he said it's more important to feel wanted.

In 2026, Audi will be taking over the Sauber chassis that Alfa Romeo currently occupy. The big question on the horizon will be if Audi wants Bottas.
