SANTANA’S KARL PERAZZO- The Legendary Timbalero tells his story.

Santana's own Karl Perazzo is one of the most respected percussionists in the world, and has been the timbalero in Santana for over 30 years. This is his story of a child prodigy who went  from idolizing Santana and jamming with their records in his bedroom, to the thrill of being invited to join the band!

Karl was a child prodigy who went from playing at a very young age with famous Latin all stars in the mission district of San Francisco, to recording and playing with Malo, Jorge Santana, Cal Tjader, Dizzy Gilespie, Andy Narrel, Ray Obiedo, Tom Coster, Pete and Coke Escovedo, Dennis Chambers, Sheila E., The Artist, Mariah Carey, Paquito D' Rivera and most recently on the latest John Lee Hooker album.
