Sri Lalitha Sahasranama Stotram

Lalitha Sahasranamam is found in the Brahmananda Purana. It praises the Mother Goddess, Shakti. She is praised using 1,000 names, attributes, or epithets that convey her nature. It was supposedly composed by 8 Vaag Devis on the command of Goddess Lalita herself. They gave it to Hayagriva, an avatar of Vishnu, who, in turn, gave it to Sage Agastya. Chanting this Stotra regularly can protect one from enemies, diseases, black magic, and adverse effects of the planets and also eliminate sins. It can bestow wealth and intellect.
