This week we are learning all about how the body reacts to altitude so you can have a safer journey when venturing to high elevation.
To help guide us we are joined by James Barber, who is the Lead Performance Specialist at The Altitude Centre, London. James has a Masters in Sport Science and several years experience in preparing climbers for the demands of altitude, from treks to Kilimanjaro and Everest Base Camp, to those heading to the top of the world in quick time!
A Kilimanjaro summiteer himself, James and The Altitude Centre bring science to the art of preparing for high altitude. The Altitude Centre is the UKs leading provider of altitude training services, and a global provider of training, consultancy and expertise for those heading to altitude.
