= it was a holistic command to Adam & co ie
to be all round fruitful

definition of fruitfulness:
• being productive
• producing positive results
• having every aspect of your life producing a measure of joy, peace, stability, fulfillment and positive results
opposite of fruitfulness:
• barrenness
• infertility
• dryness
• emptiness
• God did not give you the above
• Check the promise in exodus 23: 25 – 26
A. Jesus came to restore us to fruitful and productive life in him = john 19: 30 / 1 Corinthians 5: 7/ 2 Corinthians 5: 17 / Colossians 2: 10
The ultimate sacrifice of our lord and savior Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary is
1. Holistic
2. Eternally Permanent
• Note: 2 Corinthians 5: 17 / Colossians 2:10
• note " you are a new creation " not " you will be "......you are complete or full in him
• followers of Christ should discard the thought that " one day i will be and begin to live with the thought that in Christ " i am "
B. It is your choice to be fruitful...
1. Stay fully connected to the vine = John 15 : 1 - 5.
• stay fully connected to his word
• stay fully connected to the holy spirit
• stay fully connected to your personal instruction
• stay fully connected to your assignment
• stay fully connected to your placement
• stay fully connected to your assigned spiritual authority.
C. Stay holy unto the lord = holiness unto fruitfulness
D. Discern distractions in your life
1. Human distractions
2. Situational distractions
3. Spiritual distractions
E. Examine (with the help of the holy spirit) your inherited natural foundations = psalm 11: 3/ psalm 82: 5 / Romans 11: 16
foundations abort, delay, fight and frustrate fruitfulness
characteristics of foundations
1. Inconsistencies of the good ie good things don’t last in your life / testimonies don't stay long
2. Consistency of the negatives
3. Cycles and patterns
4. Shadow life
Examples:
1. Foundation of Reuben = settling for less
2. Moses = anger
3. David = lust for women
F. Prayer to command fruitfulness
1. I have received the command to be fruitful
2. Jesus has come to make me fruitful
3. I am fruitful...
