Episode 237: She Came From The Woods, Cerebrum, Stephen King On Screen, Herd, Pinball: The Man Who Saved the Game, The Oath, Amityville Dollhouse
This week Mike, Rich and Steve check out five new releases - click the links to view the trailer for each...
We kick off with SHE CAME FROM THE WOODS (Blue Finch Film Releasing), the latest in a long line of 80's set summer camp slashers, but is it any good and can it succeed last year's superlative Fear Street? Take a listen to hear our verdict! For those interested click HERE to see the original short film!
CEREBRUM (Signature Entertainment) is a psychological thriller in which a young man suspects his parents of being up to no good when he returns home after being in a coma....
STEPHEN KING ON SCREEN (Signature Entertainment) is the first documentary covered by us, and features the film-makers who have brought King's works to the screen....
HERD (High Flier Films) is a new "zombie" movie in which two women find themselves stuck between a rock and a hard place: infected on one side, MAGA-loving militia on the other! (there doesn't seem to be a trailer for this film as yet).
PINBALL: THE MAN WHO SAVED THE GAME (High Flier Films) is a "based on a true story" film about the man who challenged New York's 30 year ban on pinball machines.
Out Short Shot is the Batman fan film, THE OATH - click the link to watch the whole film!
Our DTV Throwback this week is AMITYVILLE: DOLLHOUSE - a film which certainly entertained us but left us asking a log of questions! This film is available on Amazon Prime.
