In today's episode, Jaime talks about the two big things that are usually at the heart of leadership and management challenges: role clarity and process.

When facing team challenges, it’s good to take a step back to see if either of these things could be at play. In Jaime’s role as a consultant, she sees these two pieces as being the root of a lot of confusion and frustration.

Jaime reminds us that as leaders, it’s our job to set the play and help people to thrive as a team, not to get on the field to show them how it’s done. Team members have to know where they need to be, who is around them, and why their role is important to the game as a whole.

Providing clarity around roles, responsibilities, your expectations and understanding the places where they may be spinning on tasks that aren’t priorities, is the secret sauce to creating a team who plays well together and who feels the joy of being in the zone with their work.
