This award-winning nonfiction work follows the Everest disaster of 1996 when eight climbers lost their lives after getting caught in a blizzard while trying to summit. One of the survivors was John Krakauer, a journalist and the author of this book.
Sierra Marshall, who will not be climbing Everest anytime soon, joins me to talk about one of Ella’s most favorite books by her most favorite author.
