58 Does Your Child Say the R Sound Wrong? 3 Real-Life Ways Parents Can Help at Home!

The R sound is one of the most common reasons a child comes to speech therapy in the schools. Speech Pathologists have lots of ways to help, and still some kids continue to struggle. However, there are somethings you can do at home to increase the likelihood your kiddo won’t struggle with R.

Today, I give you strategies that help for older kids with sound errors as well as the toddler that hasn’t been expected to say the R sound yet. The strategies in this episode are classified as "Auditory Bombardment," which means, these are ways to bombard your child's brain and ears with the correct pronunciation of R. These strategies work at the speed of home-life and can be integrated easily into what you are already doing!
