150. Ford Master Technician with over a decade of experience and a passion for charity work
Guest: Tausha Hamon - Ford Master Technician
Tausha Hamon always felt called to working on cars. But when she was younger, the only way she saw that possible was to go into the paint and body side of the industry. But that left her unfulfilled and envious watching the guys down the hall being trained on engines and in mechanical work. She just didn’t see a path forward for that. She gave up on the dream for a time…. got married, started a family…. but the industry kept calling her. Ultimately she found her way to Universal Technical Institute where she studied general automotive technology and then received specialized training in both Ford and BMW.
Tausha found opportunity at a Ford dealership that gave her a chance to get her start and trained her as a light line and electrical technician. Since changing dealerships she leaned in to electrical and has since established herself as a top diagnostic tech with over a decade of experience with Ford. Family and faith are paramount for Tausha, along with a strong calling to do charity work, which was in fact one of the main drivers in her entry into the automotive industry. Her passion and dream is to use her automotive skills to help those in need.
