WOTA #213 - Your Path is Not Linear, Your Path is Not Straight

Don't force it. Work with the thing that is there, the thing that has shown up for you. Most of us are conditioned to make things go our way, but we miss all sorts of opportunities when we give into this limited form of thinking. There is something to having determination and perseverance, but that journey toward the vision is going to take you in all sorts of ways you don't expect. Sometimes the best path is not the most direct path. Creativity will often demand you take the windy road, the long road or even the harder road. There may be something you need to acquire along the way that is more important than the destination itself. You won't know what that is until you have stumbled upon it. So embrace the path you walk and trust that the road leads you to your vision no matter how far off track it seems to go at times. If you are lucky it will take you on an adventure and one day you may just find that the journey was the point all along.
