Merryl Tengesdal on being 1st black female to fly U2 Spy Plane ”Sports and Hip-Hop with DJ Mad Max”
Big thank you to Colonel Merryl Tengesdal for coming on my show for an interview! Merryl discussed being the first black female to fly the U2 Dragon Lady Spy Plane, attending the University of New Haven, and getting a degree in engineering. She talked about going into the navy, the tests she had to go through to achieve flying the U2, and the risks that come with flying the U2. She got into hanging out with Steven Spielberg while filming Bridge of Spies, being on CBS' Tough As Nails Season 2, and wanting to give opportunities when adopting children. Merryl also spoke about her memoir Shatter The Sky, if there is a movie on her life story in the works, and being a personal trainer. Stay tuned!
