What is the message or story?

What is the Good News in this passage?

How is the Kingdom of God like a treasure? What is good about it?

Why is the Kingdom of God hidden and/or buried, why does it have to be searched for?

People were willing to sacrifice for the kingdom (sell all they have). Do people still do this?

What does it mean to give to the Church or to give to the Kingdom?  

The selling and giving in this passage are united with Joy- how is this joyful?

What are experiences of joy that you have had in your life?
