No. 215. Heather O’Leary, DVM - Holistic Care for Horses and Dogs using SURE FOOT
A 1999 graduate of Cornell's College of Veterinary Medicine, I pursued advanced training in veterinary spinal manipulative therapy (animal chiropractic) and veterinary acupuncture to earn certification in both modalities. I offer a personalized, hands-on approach to animal health. While I am a licensed veterinarian, I offer referral services only. All patients must have a primary veterinarian for routine and emergency veterinary care. Acupuncture and chiropractic can be used to maintain general health and well-being, as well as to address either specific or undiagnosed physical and medical problems. Owners of athletic animals, notably dogs and horses, find that regular treatments or "tune-ups" keep their sporty companions performing at their best, while they prevent common sports-related injuries. Owners of geriatric or chronically ill animals find that these modalities can provide relief where Western treatments alone have fallen short in conditions such as arthritis, weight loss, skin disease, Lyme Disease, respiratory difficulties, and allergies, just to name a few.
