SEGMENT ONE
• INTRO - First, I'm going to tell you I'm going to play a song today that has NO BUSINESS being on the station you're listening to - but I'll make a bet with you - I guarantee you'll like it. Wait, make that TWO songs that shouldn't be on the station you're listening to. Sinead O'Connor died so I'm gonna play an artist covering her song. Dorothy talks about all her ups and downs with addiction and how fans tell her that her music changed their lives. Marilyn Manson talks about villans. He's always such an awesome interview. Aaron Lewis talks about acoustic shows. That and more my friends.
• Drop
• Fiver Finger Death Punch - The Bleeding
• Drop
• Nickelback - Someday
• TALK - Sunday Stripped - acoustic rock that rocks. Nickelback - nah nobody likes Nickelback. NO ONE. Whatever. Speaking of charts, I saw an interview with Manson recently and he was talking about how he never had any success with charting on radio. That floored me. Here he is being asked about who is favorite villain is. AUDIO
• Drop
• Marilyn Manson - Kill4me
• TALK - that was Marilyn Manson. man covered Sweet Dream by the Eurythmics. So I went back and started listening to some acoustic Eurythmics, and I came across this version of one of their massive top 40 hits, and it resonated with me, so I'm going to play it. This is not something you'd ever hear on the station you're listening to this show on. But while you're listening, think about how it fits in this show. I love this - I hope you do.
• Eurythmics - Here Comes The Rain Again
• Drop
• Stone Sour - Song #3
(TIME PERMITTING)
• DROP
• Red Hot Chili Peppers - Otherside
• Segment ends after the song at 27:00

SEGMENT TWO
• TALK - Sunday Stripped - Acoustic Rock that ROCKS. Sinead O'Connor died and everyone on the planet seemed to think she was a musical genius. I HATE when someone dies and I'm certainly not trampling on her grave but the one song she had that was a hit was written by Prince. Having said her song NOTHING COMPARES TO YOU did make the rock charts? Did you know that? It made it to the 20th spot. Chris Cornell covered it and it is greatness!
• Drop
• Chris Cornell - Nothing Compares To You
• Drop
• The Cure - Love Song
• TALK - The Cure - an alternative song mostly but everyone lately is all about the Cure again. I love that song. Up to the band Dorothy. I've only seen them once and it wasn't even a whole show it was like 3 songs, but they were really unique. Here is Dorothy Martin talking about how her music has effected fans and she talks about her bouts with addiction. AUDIO
• DROP
• Dorothy - Flawless
• DROP
• Toadies - Possum Kingdom
• TALK - Up to Aaron Lewis, and again, this is another example of a song that would never normally be on the station you're listening to. I'll get to that in a second, but here's Aaron talking about acoustic shows and why he loves them. AUDIO So the song I'm about to play is actually a COUNTRY COVER of a Rasccall Flats song.
• Aaron Lewis - What Hurts The Most
• TALK - Sunday Stripped. The show for August 6th wrappin' up. "I hope you guys are enjoying the shows, and I hope you have a fantastic week ahead. Be safe, love on your people and remember, music is what feelings sound like." (That phrase ends the show.)
