SF’s Westfield Mall may become a massive 25k seat soccer stadium. Is downtown SF the right place? - 08-23-23

This week, San Francisco Mayor London Breed announced the possibility of turning the highly vacant Westfield mall into a soccer stadium able to see some 25,000 fans. That’s bigger than Chase Center which only seats 18,000 people. Is downtown San Francisco the right spot for such a giant stadium? We’ll discuss. 

Ethical conundrum. An ally of Florida Governor Ron Desantis has to chose between his seat on the ethics board and his seat on the special Disney district board that comes with a $400,000 a year paycheck. We are guessing it’s sayonara morals and values and hello cash!
