This week, San Francisco Mayor London Breed announced the possibility of turning the highly vacant Westfield mall into a soccer stadium able to see some 25,000 fans. That’s bigger than Chase Center which only seats 18,000 people. Is downtown San Francisco the right spot for such a giant stadium? We’ll discuss.
